The Daily Shmiras Ainayim Chizuk – 13th Tammuz, 5769

The Daily Shmiras Ainayim Chizuk – 13th Tammuz, 5769

GuardUrEyes

GuardUrEyes
A website for Jews struggling to maintain their moral purity in today’s world

Why is Sexual purity so important in Judaism? Our sages called Shmiras Habris “Yesod”, meaning “Foundation”. The foundation of a building is “underground” and no one sees it, yet it holds up the entire building! Shmiras Habris is the hidden part of a Jew, it’s the real you. If the foundation of a Jew is weak, his whole spiritual structure is fragile and in grave danger of collapse. At guardureyes.com we are finally joining together, for ourselves and for all future generations, to strengthen the foundations of our people!

There is a lot of material out there on the subject of guarding the eyes and the Bris, but sometimes “too much” is overwhelming.
A little bit each day is just right, to be able to read, digest and apply it to our lives.

Today’s Shmiras Ainayim Chizuk

The Zohar compares this world to a churning ocean and the body of a man to a ship in the sea. Therefore, man requires knowledge in order to guide himself on a straight course, avoiding mishap and losing his way. The ocean of life roars fearfully and continuously. The winds of challenge blow and the negative impulse rips about like a tornado with unimaginable force. All of life comprises great and endless tests, which can easily capsize the ship and sink it into the murky, nethermost depths.

Yirat Shamayim and the study of Mussar will prevent the body from sinking into the miry depths of desire and corrupt character traits.
(Rabbi Yitzchak Blazer, Ohr Yisrael)

A FIERY ELEMENT

Viewing improper images is one of the most detrimental forces to our spiritual equilibrium. It has the power to undo our entire spiritual foundation. How is that? Our soul is a fiery element. Just as water extinguishes a blazing fire, the impurity of improper images extinguishes our spiritual powers. Even worse, since the eyes are connected to the brain, the images that we see remain lodged within our mind, causing lingering ill effects.

Just as actual vision is impaired when the physical eye is injured, spiritual vision is impaired when the eyes are exposed to impure sights. This damage diminishes our ability to perceive the truth and to connect to Hashem.

Daily Writings on Kabbalah and Torah – 13th Tammuz, 5769

True Kabbalah org

Everyone has different abilities depending on the tribe they represent.
Let us all unify and work together in the battle against the Sitra Acher.

WISDOM CAN ONLY BE LOWERED TO A CERTAIN POINT – IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND IT READ IT OVER TWO THREE TIMES AND THINK ABOUT IT

Regarding the methods of pronouncing divine names

–   One has to know the exact pronunciation of every letter.
–   In addition he has to meditate on his breath and where the sound is coming from in addition to many other things.
–   This is impossible but when one is in Mochin Dgadlas (expanded conciseness) it becomes possible.
–   Much wisdom was needed to do this right and one had to be on an extremely high level. These were some of the mysteries taught in Maseh Merkavah (workings of the chariot).
–   If not done correctly one just draws down the forces of evil.

Perek Shira

Perek Shira: Tzipores Keramim – Rav Chaim Kanievsky Elaborates With One Word, “Titpalel”

My daughter was in the pediatric intensive care with a fluky and deadly heart virus. She wasn’t in the best hospital because we had no idea how serious it was when we brought her to the emergency room and the last thing we expected was that she would need to be hospitalized. For a few days and nights we tore ourselves apart at her bedside in the pediatric ICU trying to decide if we should transfer her to another hospital. The specialist in the other hospital said that he spoke with the doctors who were treating her and they were doing exactly what he would have done under the circumstances. Nevertheless we were nervous and wanted her in the best possible care.

After a few days I went to Rav Chaim Kanievsky to get a bracha and ask his advice. I was nervous and fumbled what I wanted to say and I ended up leaving after receiving the fairly standard “Bracha V’Hatzlacha”. All upset that I didn’t get to ask what I wanted, the gabbai insisted I go back and explain him our deliberation. Well, again it didn’t come out exactly how I hoped but I did ask him what kind of Hishtadlus we needed to do as parents and if we needed to transfer her. He answered in his brief style “Titpalel”, daven for her. Baruch Hashem the story has a happy ending and she stayed right where she was and recovered to full health.

The Tzipores Keramin in Perek Shira, says Rav Chaim Kanievsky, is a kind of grasshopper that has medicinal value and is used to cure people of various ills. Because of this, says Rav Chaim, it is sought after and always in danger. Therefore it sings “Esa Einai El HeHarim, MeiAyin Yavo Ezri”, I lift my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come (if not from Hashem)?

The Shiras Meir says this is a “Remez”, a hint not to run around looking for all sorts of questionable cures. Hashem is the one who cures. “Esa Einai El HeHarim, MeiAyin Yavo Ezri” lift your eyes to Hashem and the Refuah will come from nowhere. In one second Hashem can make the Tzipores Keramin suddenly appear to save you. Yeshuas Hashem K’Heref Ayin. Once you do your normal Hishtadlus, as Rav Chaim would say, Titpalel!

When one studies Torah, he must bear in mind before Whom he studies. Sometimes on can actually distance himself from the Creator through [improper] Torah study. Therefore, one must be aware of this at all times.

Tikun Habris – 13th Tammuz, 5769

True Kabbalah org

Tikun Habris is the most important topic to discuss in this low generation, and no one is dealing with it.

If you are Jewish then you are part of the Holy nation. Have mercy on your holy soul and stop blemishing it with the sin of wasting seed. Take heed of what the kabbalah says and stop committing this sin of wasting seed.

The Sin of Wasting Seed

Those who destroy their seed bring a flood to this world.
