Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh’s Tweets, 25th Tishrei, 5771

Today’s random Tweets, from Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh

  • Our’s is a generation of relaxation. We’re all tired. If you’re tired you need to relax. It’s time to game. The Torah is G-d’s holy game.
  • G-d created music for spiritual elevation. The Torah itself is primordial, it reflects G-d Himself. But it has both music and mathematics.
  • When the mind is too tired to study a Torah text in depth, that’s the time to count its letters. G-d created mathematics for relaxation.
  • In Hebrew, “fall” and “wonder” are cognate. By witnessing wonders in nature and in our lives we fall in love with our Creator.
  • Why do we say “to fall in love”? To experience true love one must fall from the heights of his ego. Egocentricity does not allow for love.
  • Joy is in knowing that G-d is always with us. He follows us like a shadow and leads us forward like a torch, illuminating our darkness.
  • The rebuke of one unworthy to rebuke fills the air with a bad odor. If you feel the need to rebuke others, first rebuke yourself.
  • The beauty of a bride is in her eyes. The bride is Shabbat, she lights the Shabbat candles and pepares its delights – “love in delights.”

Kabbalistic Quotes, 25th Tishrei, 5771

Kabbalah, Bnei Baruch - Kabbalah Education & Research Institute

The science of Kabbalah is unique in the way it talks about you and me, about all of us. It doesn’t deal with anything abstract, only with the way we are created and how we function at higher levels of existence.

Today’s Kabbalistic Quote

The Torah is concealed. It is only revealed to those who have reached the level of the righteous.
(Talmud, Hagiga)

Daily Kabbalah Tip
Tips and Advice in the daily Kabbalah lesson is recommended, practical tasks for advancing spiritually.

Before the Time

Correction through the Light is faster than through suffering. We need to disseminate this to the world.

Nature is one system in which all its details influence each other. We need to hope that humanity will feel that soon. It depends on the recognition of evil that comes to them by either suffering or with the help of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

According to what I now see, we are given the possibility to disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah. It’s a sign that we are being directed from Above and that we will reach correction by the way of good, not under the pressure of sufferings, wars, and beatings. That direction is quite clear.

The way of Light is shorter, of course,” before the time.” Indeed, we don’t see that the world is awakening and responding, but we need to invest even more in dissemination since in that way everything will operate faster and in a more effective way than the way of suffering.

Motivational Quotes

A Favorite Friend
If a favorite friend gave you a gift — a gift that cost him thought and time, effort and money — you would be grateful. Even if you did not understand this gift, even if it did not suit your tastes, still you would thank him. You wouldn’t want to injure his feelings.

We must do no less then with the gift of life — the gift the Creator extends to us. We may not understand this gift — it may not suit our tastes — still, we say thank you. We don’t want to injure the Creator’s “feelings”.

Moreover — we must know — that if the Creator himself — the billionaire of all billionaires, the Creator of all creators, the Genius of all geniuses, the Kindness of all kindness, the Love of all love — gives us this gift, it must contain great value. There must be a prize beyond what we realize — a worth beyond what we know buried in this gift. We need to unlock its secret — its excitement and greatness — and find the treasure of life.
