Hold Back

We should hold back from stinging those who hurt us. The rift we create can last forever. Instead, we should stay polite. We may yet count these people as our closest friends.

The Wisdom of Kabbalah

Body and Soul

Before I clarify this exalted matter, it is important for me to state that although all the readers seem to consider it impossible to clarify and bring such a matter closer to the human mind, except by relying on abstract, philosophical concepts, as is usually the case in such scrutinies, since the day I have discovered the wisdom of Kabbalah and dedicated myself to it, I have distanced myself from abstract philosophy and all its branches as the east from the west. Everything that I will write henceforth will be from a purely scientific perspective, in utter precision, and by means of simple recognition of practical, useful things.

Although I will mention their words below, it will be only to indicate the difference between what the human mind can conjure up, and what can be understood using the reason of Torah and prophecy, which are based on practical foundations (as I have shown in “The Essence of the Wisdom of Kabbalah”).

I would also like to thoroughly clarify the terms “body” and “soul,” as they truly are, since truth and sound mind are one and the same. This is because the truth is available for anyone, but only by the spirit of the Holy Torah, and by removing all the distorted concepts that have taken root among the people. These are primarily taken from simplifying methods, from which the spirit of our Holy Torah is utterly removed.

Today 10th Sivan, 5769 – “Little Mitzvos”

Today 10th Sivan, 5769 – “Little Mitzvos”

Little Mitzvos Org

You may think, how does one little Mitzvo help . . .

Our times are calling out to us to do Teshuva, but it’s too hard for us to change our lives. Even when we try, we end up reverting back to nothing, everything as was. We MUST show HaShem that we are seeing the signs and that it means something to us.

In this way, when HaShem asks what did we did, we can reply “I took this on…”

You must not consider this “Little Mitzvos” as a replacement for the Shulchan Oruch – you must continue learning Halochos via mainstream Seforim and with Shiurim.

THE PURPOSE OF LIFE – Reward of the world to come

We call the reward in the world to come “good” because there is simply no other term to describe it. Yet even the word “good” is quite inadequate, because this reward is far beyond good. Still, the only way to explain it to people is by calling it good, although in truth, “no eye has seen it, other than G-d” (Isaiah 64:3).

Tikun Habris – 10th Sivan, 5769

True Kabbalah org

Tikun Habris is the most important topic to discuss in this low generation, and no one is dealing with it.

If you are Jewish then you are part of the Holy nation. Have mercy on your holy soul and stop blemishing it with the sin of wasting seed. Take heed of what the kabbalah says and stop committing this sin of wasting seed.

The Sin of Wasting Seed

Why does the verse say Tinuf (you should not commit adulteries) which is in plural form, it comes to include those who spill seed.

(Tanah Divi R’ Yishmoel)

A Wonderous Segulah to rectify oneself and to rectify Nefesh Ruach and Neshama. Culled from the Holy ARIZALs works to be said every day after prayers. Tikun Mem Ches from the Tikunei Zohar has the Segulah to bring that which is precious and holy out of what has fallen into spiritual darkness and to rectify the sins related to the Bris Kodesh. Whomever says it will be worthy of many wonderous things relating to body and soul.

This Week’s Article – Which World?

This Week’s Article

Which World?

By Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Schwartz

We live in three worlds, the world of things, the world of people, and the world of concepts.

The world of things is made of buildings, homes, gardens, furniture, cars, clothing, food and drink, etc. The world of people is composed of family, friends, neighbors, workmates, teachers, people who buy from us or sell to us, people we see, people we meet, etc. The world of concepts is the most complex of the three. At one level, it is made of research, exploration, scientific discovery; at another, of social justice, truth and peace; at yet another, of love, awe, joy, etc.

We all live in all three worlds. The question is though, which for us is our main world? In other words, in which of our worlds do we invest our main thrust?

  … or Life

That which is material dies — if not today, then tomorrow. That which is spiritual lives beyond this world; it is eternal, timeless.

Every element in this world is composed of the material and the spiritual. The spiritual is the soul, the life-force of the material being. When we use the elements of this world for a higher cause, we attach ourselves to its spirit and make it a part of our higher selves. We gain for ourselves a share in its life-force.

If however, we use this world purely for physical gratification, we embed our own spirituality into that which is material. This damages us, as well as our world.

  A Hidden Hunger

We each have a hidden hunger. We may try to suppress it, but this doesn’t make the hunger disappear. The only way is to try to satisfy it.

Material riches cannot satisfy this hunger. On the contrary, they irritate it, much like the thirsty person who drinks seawater. We have to turn to — link ourselves with — the Source of life. Only then can we begin to satisfy this need.

A 10-yr old has no wish again to be the age of five. An adult has no interest in returning to his childhood. Similarly, one who connects and tastes life in a higher realm will never view his life in the same way again.

  The Formula

We come into this world as guests. This world is not our own. As such, we need to behave ourselves. The hotel, which we so enjoy, has rules. The management may keep a low profile, but they enforce their rules strictly and with precision. They reward us when we behave as we should. They punish us for misbehaving.

To improve our lives, to promote our self-growth, we need to learn and know these rules. Then we will avoid doing what we shouldn’t be doing, and instead, do what we need to do. We will stay away from the words that shouldn’t be said, and instead say what we need to say. We will stop thinking thoughts that harm us, and instead generate thoughts that bring goodness into our lives.

To sweeten our lives we must learn the formula; then, do our best to keep to it.

Zechiras Miriam

A Public Rebellion

The Chofetz Chaim says that when you speak Lashon Hara, you are Michalel Shem Shamayim. Why? Since there is nothing “Geshmack” about speaking Lashon Hara and you have not satisfied any physical or non-physical desire, it is considered purely a rebellion against Hashem and wanton disrespect for Machlus Shamayim. If you do this in front of a crowd then you are making a Chilul Hashem B’Rabim, something no one would ever consider doing.

“Zachor Eis Asher Asa Hashem L’Miriam BaDerech B’Tzaischem MiMitzrayim”

The Ramban and other Rishonim count, among the Mitzvos Aseh Min HaTorah, the mitzva of remembering and saying with your mouth each day what Hashem did to Miriam when she spoke about her brother Moshe. The Chofetz Chaim in Shaar Tvunah Perek 12 says that being Mikayem this mitzva can save you from the aveira of Lashon Hara. More than just saying the pasuk, says the Chofetz Chaim, one must think about the incident in order for it to have its intended effect.

Positive Commandment 209
Respecting the Sages and the Elderly

Leviticus 19:32 “You shall stand up before an elderly person and give respect to a sage

A learned sage and an elderly person have gained much knowledge through their studies and life experience. It is appropriate to respect these achievements.

We are commanded to honor the sages and the elderly.

We can do this by offering them a seat on the bus, listening attentively to their words, not contradicting their opinions and always being respectful.

We should especially try to keep this Positive Mitzvah with our own grandparents, whom we should try to visit often and enable them to enjoy our company. If they live far away, we can write them letters and send pictures. When they tell us stories, we should show interest, even if we have heard them before!
